We design and CNC-machine free-form optics from optical glass, YAG ceramic, Lu2O3, and Y2O3 ceramic, and other materials. Such components may be made of homogeneous material or may be formed as bonded composites comprising multitude of materials. Our adhesive-free composites have been successfully tested with over several thousand psi shear stress and operated with laser intensities approaching GW/cm2 range.
